Back when I owned the original Hidden Triforce site, I used to run a weekly contest in which visitors would be able to have a friendly competition to find a Triforce that I would hide in various Legend of Zelda screenshots. I used to have quite a turn out so I have decided to continue this tradition here on the new site as well.
The third session of this contest has started now and it will run through mid December. Whoever has the most amount of points at the end of this time-frame will win a free Nintendo DS game of their choice or a STL Ocarina. This prize can also be substituted for an object of equal or lesser value. Second place winner sill receive a Legend of Zelda prize ranging from posters, plushes, hats, and more. And third place will get a 10 dollar giftcard to Gamestop.
This is how points are calculated. Whoever is the first person to send me an email and correctly finds the Triforce hidden in the screenshot will get 3 points added to their score. The next two people will get 2 points and everybody there after will get one point. Since these will be coming to my email, I will judge this by timestamps.
Every Sunday we will update the image at around Noon EST.
I will keep an updated score list on this page here so everybody can see their running tally as the contest progresses.
So good luck and have fun and send me an email through this form here. Be descriptive when telling me where the Hidden Triforce is. Do not say “it is near the top” as that will not cut it. Explain what it is near. Describe it is as many details as you can.
*In the event of a tie, a tie breaking event will be held. It will be something Zelda related.
