Zelda Four Swords

Four Swords Info
Four Swords is different from the rest of the Zelda games as it is the only game that requires at least 2 players. Four Swords, as does its sequel Four Swords Adventures, also does not have an overworld. Lastly Four Swords features random dungeons.

The floors of each individual stage is made up of 2 parts. These parts are randomly connected to create random floors. To advance Link to the next floor of a stage every player must reach a warp point. The quicker they are the bigger the Rupee bonus. After clearing every floor, gamers are warped to a boss chamber. Upon defeating the stage’s boss a Great Fairy will appear who will grant prizes and recognition.

Unlike in other Zelda titles, when Link runs out of hearts he is not dead. Link is simply knocked out and has to pay a Rupee fee to be revived. The more Link gets downed, the higher the cost to get back up. When there is not enough Rupees to revive Link, the game ends.
