zelda how i met your mother cameo

How I Met Your Mother is currently my favorite television show on the air. I watch every episode when it goes online and this week the writers managed to make me enjoy my weekly fix even more. About 10.5 minutes into the season finale there was a Legend of Zelda cameo which really made me smile.

While Marshall is drunk and trying to use an ATM he hallucinates and sees a variety of video game and media references on the screen. One of these segments was a clip from the original Legend of Zelda game with Link fighting stalfos in a dungeon.

Did you happen to catch the reference? Know of any other zelda references on tv? Let us know in the comments.

LOl, I haven't seen the episode yet. I think there's a kind of reference on the Scott Pilgrim vs the world move, when the chinese girl asks a guy what does he play and he answers Zelda (she ment what kind of musical instrument).

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World has a BUNCH of video game references in it, from the shirts he wears to the background music that plays (The fairy theme plays when he walks into the bathroom)

That might be because the whole film's point was to reference video games… It's all about video gaming and bringing them to life.

Yes, we can see video game references all along in the whole comic & move.

  • Funny game ^^!
