Wind Waker Game Breaking Glitch

Glitching Legend of Zelda games has always been one of my favorite hobbies. Many of the Zelda titles are filled with some of the most intricate glitches that will create insanely entertaining results. In our latest YouTube video site contributor Andy shows off a rather interesting game breaking glitch within The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

By creatively finding another path through the Forsaken Fortress it is actually possible to skip a cutscene that is vital to the game’s logic sequence. By bypassing the cutscene the game will let you continue on to a certain point, but will later throw a fit when a conflicting piece of logic occurs. When Link returns to Windfall Island to acquire the Bombs from the pirates the game will start to act a bit wonky. Characters and dialogue will be totally out of place, and the environment goes into a pitch black state.

The game thinks you should still be outside of the Forsaken Fortress as the vital cutscene never got to be triggered. Watch our video demonstration below.
