Mark Rein, the vice president of Epic has recently made some statements discussing the huge potential of the Nintendo Wii U. At the GDC conference last week, Rein mentioned that he thinks the Wii U will do very well.

He described it as an eye-opener for many. This notion with the fact that Nintendo is already a trusted brand will help the console sell. A HD Wii, as he described it, that does much more than a normal Wii.
Rein then went on and spoke about about Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 technology. The Unreal Engine is supposed to play a big role in many of the Wii U’s first games.

Rein then went onto discuss the Unreal Engine in comparison to the Zelda Wii U demo from E3 of last year.

“Do you remember the Zelda demo they had on it? Would you not buy a Wii U just to play that? Of course you would,” Rein said. “That’s what Nintendo is all about. Their hardware is the software delivery service for their great content. That Zelda demo was gorgeous and we can do even more than that with Unreal Engine 3. I think it will do great.”

So what do you think? Are you excited to see what could be done on the Wii U? Think it can get much better than the Zelda Wii U demo?

Could it happen to Wii U the same that is going for Playstation. That PS3 is such a powerful machine, but most game developers prefer to make game not as great, so that they can have sells on more systems. the difference might be that this time we will have games using all PS3 potential, instead of the Wii U. Of course the only exception would be Nintendo canon games!!

Graphics like that combined with a land layout similiar to Skyrim is all the game needs.

The Wii U is showing some awesome potential for the next LOZ installment. HD….deep colors…great shadow…awesome lighting…I'm down for all that. It's going to look incredible. Add this new graphic potential to a consistently great gameplay experience and overall formula from previous titles, and I'm even deeper in love with this series. Unfortunately, with other titles from other systems that will make their debut in the future, I don't see these graphics for the Wii U setting any real bars. But may I say, graphics certainly don't make a game. Regardless, this future LOZ title is going to look superb.

Its going to be looking great, but still what will make the game stand out is its superb mithology and fun.
