Hailed as one of the best Zelda songs in history, Gerudo Valley has struck its tune into the hearts of many. This week I’ll be showcasing an amazing remix by Diggi Dis named Mamacitas in My Valley. Mamacita is commonly used as pickup slang in Mexico, to mean “Babe” or “Hot Mama.” Which in this case would be referring to the Gerudo Women, known for their beauty and charm.
Mamacitas in my valley is a remix that takes a different route than most. Throughout the song you’ll notice a lot of different forms of music infused throughout. From soothing piano and strings to hip-hop beats, Mamacitas in My Valley has quickly become one of my favorite Zelda remixes. OverClocked ReMix also recognized this song and is referred to by fans as one of the best on the site.
