Earlier this month, Dengeki Playstation interviewed many game developers and creators as a feature for the magazine’s 600th published issue. One of the developers Dengeki interviewed was Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata. He was asked what other company’s game he would like to work on as a member of staff, to which Tabata responded
“The Legend of Zelda series. I’m not quite sure why myself, but a Zelda game made with the technology and know-how of Final Fantasy XV is the game I wish to create as of this moment.”
This is just one man wanting to work on one of the greatest franchises ever created so don’t read too much into it, but think of the possibilities of a new Zelda game with the Square Enix team behind it! Could make for one amazing collaboration.
