Capcom has finally surprisingly quickly released the much anticipated The Legend of Zelda DLC for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate today; three weeks after the game’s launch. After players download the FREE DLC, they will have the option to take on a particularly harrowing quest. If they manage to return from their hunt triumphant, they will receive crafting materials that can be used to craft a tasty helping of Zelda themed gear.

Said gear includes:

  • The Hero’s Sword: A powerful sword and shield  infused with elemental fire damage which can be upgraded into the iconic Blade of Evil’s Bane: The Master Sword.
  • The Hero’s Bow: A snazzy looking thunder infuse bow that can eventually be upgraded into the Sacred Bow; which you might remember from the recent Skyward Sword.
  • Two sets of Link’s iconic green tunic; both similar in appearance but providing different stats to suit either an up close and personal or a ranged style of play.

This is just a taste of what’s to come, as there is still tons of crossover themed DLC to come, including a Metroid pack, and Sonic the Hedgehog/Street Fighter/Mega Man themed costumes for your feline right-hand man, The Ace Palico.

Have you managed to build yourself a stylish set of Hero’s Clothes and strut around online showing everyone what a boss Hunter you are? Let us know what you think of the set below in the comments. Happy Hunting!
