Super Mario Maker has received an abundance of high review scores, and has left fans of the Mario series creating some totally ingenious levels. With its raging success, many have been wondering if perhaps other Nintendo series might get a similar do-it-yourself style game.

Game Informer got a chance to ask  Takashi Tezuka, the producer of Super Mario Maker, about this very topic. An excerpt of this interview can be seen below.

GI: If Super Mario Maker is a success, will it open the door for a comparable Zelda Maker?

TT: Zelda Maker might be a challenge to make I think. Personally, making Super Mario Maker that was a challenge in itself, and we hope that it’s a success, so thank you for saying that, but I think that might be a difficult task.
