Splatoon fans: be sure to check your Miitomo accounts today. Nintendo’s smartphone app Miitomo released Splatoon-inspired gear today, April 27th, including inkling clothing, hair, and other accessories.
Through “Miitomo Drop”, an in-app minigame, you can win clothing and items similar to the ones on the Splatoon amiibo. This consists of squid tees (short-sleeved for the girl and long-sleeved/layered for the boy), shorts, and shoes. Along with clothing, players can win inkling wigs for both the girl and boy hairstyles. Aside from “Miitomo Drop” prizes, players can purchase squid pin accessories through the “Miitomo Shop” and, by redeeming points through My Nintendo Rewards, players can also purchase the inkling’s ink tanks. Colors for the wigs, pins, and ink tanks include the respective orange, blue, lime green, teal, purple, and pink. The items on “Miitomo Drop” will be available until May 29th at 10:59:59 A.M EST.
