Throughout the last month G4 has been hosting a video game death match where the year’s hottest titles were pitted against one another in a battle to see which game stood out as the best of the year. All results were generated through user votes showing the true feelings of gamers.
Skyward Sword faced many tough rounds in the battle but in the end it prevailed as the number one game. To highlight what an accomplishment this was for Skyward Sword we can take a look at some of the games it was matched against. Zelda Skyward Sword defeated titles such as Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Arkham City, and Fifa 12. In the end, Skyward Sword defeated Assassin’s Creed Revelations in the tournaments final round to be declared the victor.
