It has been a while since we have heard very much about Skyward Sword. The last bit of news was a statement about the game being more than 50% completed. This statement led many to believe that perhaps Nintendo would end up delaying the game in some form. However the newest information is now seeming to confirm that Skyward Sword will in fact be released sometime in 2011. Since the information was in French the information provided was done through a translation.
The first and most notable bits of info states that Zelda Skyward Sword is still set to be released this year but it will not be released until everything is ready. One quote reads, “Mr. Miyamoto wants to ensure that the proposal is consistent with our expectations. These are the games that deliver the promise to users, and Zelda will of course be highly anticipated.”
As this shows, Miyamoto and Nintendo are of course working very hard to keep the quality of the Legend of Zelda series up to the standards that we as fans have all come to expect.
So as of now there is no confirmed release date but we do know it will most likely be sometime this year.
