Skyward Sword Details From German Magazine Review

German Gaming Magazine GamePro recently released their review of Skyward Sword. In this review, a lot of new information, and some old stuff, was revealed. There is quite a bit of information here so stick with us.

– Though we already knew this, Skyward Sword is confirmed to be before Ocarina of Time at some point during the game
– Link is awoken when he hears a voice saying, “The time has come for you, the chosen one. Awaken!”
-When you get the Skyward Sword Link’s movements is expressed based on your movements.
– Sky Loft and the Earth Realm are separated. You must break through a holy seal

– Some goddess makes a green portal that links the two places.
-After leaving Skyloft the first place you visit is Seal Grove
-You can carry 2 shields in case one breaks.
-You can store back-up items in Skyloft
-The Beetle item can be upgraded to have an arm that will use Bombs.
-The Earth realm is split into 3 pieces
– One side quest has Link looking for “Jewels of Compassion” which will turn a demon into a human.
– 15 hours into the game and all areas should be completed.
-This is when a major event in the story will take place
-The last half of the game has Link looking for Divine Flames to forge a sword.
-The harp allows Link access to new areas.
-Several tests Link must complete which allows a variety of things. Link must return to past dungeons to do so.
-Divine Water Dragon Faron grants Link access to the 4th temple.
Game takes about 40 hours to complete
