Equipment

Kokiri Sword
Location – Link starts the game with this sword
Description – A small sword that is used most of the game.

Razor Sword
Location – Get sword sharpened by the smithy
Description – An upgraded version of the Kokiri Sword but this sword will break after 100 swings unless fused with Gold Dust.

Gilded Sword
Location – When you win the Goron Races take the Gold Dust to the smithy and he will fuse it with the Razor Sword to create this.
Description – An upgraded version of the Razor Sword but this one won’t break.

Great Fairy’s Sword
Location – Given to you by the Great Fairy after you find all of the stray fairies in Stone Tower Temple.
Description – This sword is used as a C button item and takes both of Link’s hands to hold it making it difficult to use a shield at the same time.

Hero’s Sheild
Location – Link starts the game with this shield
Description – A strong steel shield that can protect against most enemy attacks.

Mirror Shield
Location – The bottom of the well in Ikana Canyon
Description – This shield will not only protect Link against attacks but it will also reflect light onto enemies and walls.

Bomb Bag
Location – The Bomb shop in West Clock Town
Description – A bag needed to carry bombs.
Upgrades – Stop the thief in North Clock Town at midnight of the first day then you will be able to purchase a bigger bag at the Bomb Shop. The largest can be obtained from the Deku in Clock Town as Goron Link.

Quiver
Location – Comes with the Hero’s Bow found in Woodfall Temple
Description – A piece of equipment used to carry arrows.
Upgrades – One in the shooting Gallery of East Clock Town. The second can be found in the Swamp shooting gallery after getting a perfect score.

Wallet
Location – Link begins the game with a Child’s wallet
Description – Holds rupees you pick up
Upgrades – The Adult’s wallet can be gotten after depositing 200 rupees in the Clock Town Bank and it can hold up to 200 rupees. The Giant’s wallet is the prize at the end of completing the spider house in Great Bay, it can hold up to 500 rupees.

Bomber’s Notebook
Location – This is given to Link by the gang called the Bombers after he completes a challenge they set for him.
Description – A useful book that stores information on many people that Link helps throughout the adventure. It helps the player keep track of who they have helped and who to help next.

Items

Bombs
Location – Can be found in most places throughout the game, especially in grass and pots.
Description – Bombs can be used to damage enemies and blow up cracks in walls to reveal new paths.

Bombchus
Location – The Bomb Shop in Clock Town
Description – A bomb that can move along floors, up walls and even along ceilings to blow up hard to reach things.

Deku Stick
Location – Can be found in many places such as after killing some enemies, in pots, under rocks and in clumps of grass.
Description – A stick that can be used as a sword but it breaks very easily. These items are most useful in dark places where there are torches to be lit.

Deku Nut
Location – Just like the Deku sticks these can be found nearly anywhere in Termina.
Description – A nut that will let out a blinding flash when thrown which is useful for stunning enemies.

Hero’s Bow
Location – Woodfall Temple
Description – A bow used to shoot arrows at enemies and switches.

Fire Arrows
Location – Snowhead Temple
Description – An arrow that can be used to set enemies on fire and melt blocks of ice.

Ice Arrows
Location – Great Bay Temple
Description – Arrows that can freeze enemies turning them into blocks for Link to stand on.

Light Arrows
Location – Stone Tower Temple
Description – The most powerful of the magical arrows, light arrows can destroy most enemies in one hit.

Lens of Truth
Location – Goron Village
Description – A magical lens that allows Link to see things that aren’t visible to the naked eye.

Hookshot
Location – Pirate’s Fortress
Description – A useful item that can latch on to far away targets and pull Link over to them. Can also stun certain enemies.

Magic Beans
Location – Sold by the bean seller below the Deku Palace garden and in the Southern Swamp from a Deku outside the boat tour hut.
Description – These beans can be planted in certain patches of soil, when watered they will grow into a large leaf that will allow Link to access new areas.

Ocarina of Time
Location – Skullkid steals this from Link right at the start of the game, to get it back Link travels to Clock Town where he retrieves it the first time he reaches the end of the third day from Skullkid at the top of the Clock Tower.
Description – The legendary item that is passed down through the Royal family of Hyrule. This ocarina has the power to speed up time, slow it down and most importantly turn back time.

Pictograph box
Location – You will receive this after you help the witches in the Swamp
Description – This item is similar to a camera but you can only save one picture in it. Show your pictures to the man in the boat tour hut and he will rate them for you.

Powder Kegs
Location – You must take the Powder Keg test in Goron Village to be able to carry these massive bombs. Once you are able to carry them they can be bought from the Goron in the Bomb Shop
Description – A large bomb that only a Goron can carry and even then they can only be carried one at a time. These are used to blow up very large boulders dotted around Termina.

Bottles
Location – There are six bottles to collect in the game that can be used to store many different things.
1. The Southern Swamp Potion Shop
2. Romani Ranch
3. Win the Goron Races
4. Win the Beaver Races
5. The Milk Bar
6. Ikana Graveyard.
Description – Bottles can hold many useful things to help you on your quest.

Map
Location – One in each dungeon throughout Hyrule
Description -Shows which rooms you have been it

Compass
Location – One in each dungeon throughout Hyrule
Description -Shows where items, keys, and bosses are hidden in the dungeon.

Small Key
Location – Several in each dungeon throughout Hyrule
Description -Unlocks doors and can only be used once and in the dungeon you found it in

Boss Key
Location – One in each dungeon throughout Hyrule
Description -Unlocks room to boss
