Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a press release stating that their upcoming title, Scribblenauts Unlimited, will feature more Nintendo themed content than ever before. For instance, players can actually summon characters and items from the Legend of Zelda and Mario franchises. This will be limited to the Wii U version of the game.

Gamers will have a lot of opportunities to interact, in oftentimes funny ways, with Mario, Link, and all their pals. Items from these series will behave in unique ways that mimics the way they act in their respective games. However, it should be noted that the Zelda and Mario characters cannot be modified in any way. That means no giant or zombie Link.

What do you think about this cameo appearance for Link? Would you like to see him in more games? Let us know in the comments.
