Williams, a well known avid gamer, famously named his daughter after Nintendo’s titular princess from The Legend of Zelda.

Our thoughts go out to Zelda Williams and her family in this difficult time.

Robin Williams IS my childhood. I grew up on Jumanji, Flubber, Aladdin and the likes. He always came across as so real on screen — he felt like a friend. I’m truly heartbroken by this news. He brought so much joy to the world while he himself struggled with depression; something that truly inspires me. That legacy will live on forever ♥

This is so tragic. Jumanji was one of my favorite films as a kid. Love Robin Williams :(

This man has been with all of us through thick and thin, though the good times and the bad. So sad to see someone who bought so much joy and laughter leave us in such a way.
