The six minute-long Nintendo Direct video kicked off with an opener of Red, Green, and Blue versions featuring the Pokémon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara. He narrated the 20th anniversary special video, along with the Nintendo Direct.

After a heartwarming video consisting of kids and adults alike experiencing the nostalgic history of the Pokémon games, Ishihara continued to introduce the two new Pokemon games.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will be released on the Nintendo 3DS worldwide during the holidays of 2016. These new games include nine languages to choose before beginning your journey. The languages include English, Italian, Spanish, Korean, French, German, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. “We hope that through Pokémon players can overcome language barriers and interact with players around the world.” (Ishihara, 2016)

Pokémon caught from the upcoming Red, Blue, and Yellow 3DS digital versions will also be tradable into the new Sun and Moon versions.
