Many of you who bought your copy, and jumped online to register the game to get the free Ocarina of Time soundtrack, probably left confused and disappointed. As you all know, Nintendo was giving away a limited supply of the Ocarina of Time Official Soundtrack to individuals who registered the game on Club Nintendo.
Once entering your game’s pin number the usual game registration survey has to be filled out and then users are supposed to be prompted with the option of opting in or out of the free soundtrack giveaway. However many, including myself, found that the opt-in window never showed up.
I registered my game on the very minute that it was open to the public and still did not get the ability to get my free copy. So Nintendo ether ran out of supply incredibly quickly or there was a problem. Thankfully it was the latter for me. I quickly emailed Nintendo customer support with my account information citing my problem. By the next morning they confirmed my account for the free copy and all was fixed.
However time is running out quickly. If there are any free copies left you need to contact Nintendo tech support and get in your complaint. You can reach them through their email page or call them up at 1-800-255-3700. Make sure you get yourself the free Ocarina of Time Official Soundtrack.
