Ocarina of Time 3D has sold exceptionally well since it was released in mid to late June. In the 2 weeks after its United Stated release the game sold about 283,000 copies. These sales pushed the game to the 2nd highest selling game in all of June. Now when you consider that Ocarina of Time 3D was not released until the 19th that is quite an accomplishment.
In total the 3DS has sold about 1 Million units meaning that about 20% of 3DS owners bought Ocarina of Time 3D. From May to June 3DS sales went up around 400% and this jump was most likely due to the impending release of Ocarina of Time 3D.
