With E3 just around the corner, all eyes are turning towards Nintendo as excitement grows over the pending release of information regarding the new, upcoming Nintendo Wii- U console. Introducing a new interface to console gaming and connectivity to all new levels, the classic Nintendo franchises will be played in all new ways.

Seeking to avoid the same problem that almost caused their 3DS console to fail, it is expected that Nintendo will also be showing a large line up of exciting first party games for the Wii-U’s early months and of course continued support to the 3DS to keep it surging as the company seeks to counter their largest loss in the company’s history.

To return to profitability, keep fans and investors happy and show off one of the best E3 shows of their history Nintendo needs to keep things fresh and follow a model that has been shown to work that is within their doctrine. Here are 6 bold predictions for what we can expect from Nintendo’s 2012 E3 conference.
If followed upon, the breaking news coming from Nintendo’s booth will be at new and exciting levels that would trump previous year’s conferences. The bar has already been set pretty high for Nintendo’s E3 shows, but with 2012 offering a new console, the opportunity for innovative and new ideas for the company, a company seeking to redeem itself after a shaky year, lessons learned from past mistakes, and the demand for first party games from their biggest franchise – the possibility for this year’s show being the most critically acclaimed yet is not a far stretch.
