Via press release, Nintendo has confirmed their plans for this year’s E3. Just like last year, Nintendo is choosing to forgo the traditional press conference set-up that many of the larger publishers use.
Using the name “Play Nintendo” the company will once again host a digital event on June 10. This event will focus on revealing their pending software and hardware releases.
Nintendo has also planned several themed events to go along with their digital announcements. Nintendo is bringing in 16 of the best Super Smash Bros. players to participate in a tournament which will be held in the Nokia theater. The company has also partnered with Best Buy to make the upcoming Smash game playable during E3.
We will be attending E3 for the third year in a row, so make sure to check into The Hidden Triforce from June 9-13 for all of the biggest news from the conference.
