Nintendo Reveals Mario Maker

Many laughed. Many scoffed.

Today at E3, I proved that I was right on my desire for a Mario Paint sequel.

Well, sort of.

Today during Nintendo’s live event at E3, Mario Maker was confirmed.

Mario Maker is the evolution of Mario Paint for the Wii U. Featuring a UI that is very similar to its predecessor, Mario Maker allows players to create their own Mario level. Even better: you can toggle between 8-bit NES Mario and modern day New Super Mario Bros. style graphics.

What I’m waiting to hear on this, which I’m going to guess is going to happen (and if it doesn’t, it’s a failed opportunity), but if you can upload your levels for your friends to try online.
