When A Link to the Past was originally released Nintendo Power issued parts of a serialized manga by Shotaro Ishinomori that went along with the title. This comic series was later released in 1993 in the form of a graphic novel. The series has since been out of print which had led to a high price for the item on reseller websites such as eBay.
