One of the biggest complaints about The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is the restrictive means of saving your game’s progress. The game’s owl statues posed a limiting manner of saving your status that oftentimes left hours of gameplay lost.

There will be a new manner of saving your game for the 3DS remake if a listing from Amazon Germany is to be believed.

While owl statues will remain in the game, the game’s listing on Amazon indicates the addition of a “feature statue” which allows you to save the game whenever you like. These statues are placed all over Termina, and unlike owl statues, these saves are permanent.
