We received a plethora of information regarding the pending release of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. First we have several new limited edition items including a Majora’s Mask 3DS and a cool collectible pin. Nintendo also announced a new piece of Hyrule Warriors DLC that is focused on characters from Majora’s Mask including Young Link and Tingle.

Nintendo then announced several new features that would come to the 3DS edition of Majora’s Mask. To coincide with the new release of the upcoming 3DS, Majora’s Mask will take advantage of the consoles features and will include a full 360 degree angle controlled view. This feature is great for scoping out your environment. As expected, Majora’s Mask 3D will also include gyroscopic controls similar to those we saw in the Ocarina of Time 3D release.

Changes to the game’s Bomber Notebook and saving system has also been confirmed. There will be new owl save stations within the dungeons. This concept is similar to the statues in Skyward Sword. This feature should make the playing of Majora’s Mask 3D less stressful.

We also got a look at a couple of other new features including the new fishing spots and control schemes. You can watch a new trailer here.

This is an ongoing story that we will be updating throughout the day.
