Keenan Bone builds handmade Legend of Zelda-inspired crafts and merchandise at his store Hylian Crafts. Residing in Seymour, Wisconsin, Bone makes necklaces and earrings in his shop. She started his Legend of Zelda-inspired crafting hobby in the summer of 2012 and sold his merchandise while attending college.

His items vary in design with deku nuts, heart containers, Triforce pieces, goddess necklaces, and even fairies including Navi. Aside from the Legend of Zelda, she sells a Bob-Omb necklace from the Super Mario series as well as a “corrupted Phazon” necklace from Metroid Prime. Made with glass beads and epoxy resin, these Phazon necklaces display an organic, lifelike appearance and even glow under UV light. His personal favorite Legend of Zelda-related item in his shop is his Vaati Reborn necklace. “I always thought Vaati could use a little more attention from the Zelda fan community and I wanted to make something that borrowed from his more memorable elements.”
“I’m self-taught, so I don’t use any conventional jeweling techniques, but in order to build stock more quickly I’ve taken inspiration from the concept of mass production by completing a single step at a time instead of making each piece of jewelry individually. So, for instance, if I’m making 50 Navi necklaces, I’ll have to cut 50 lengths of chain, then cut 50 pieces of wire, then assemble 50 pendants using a piece of said wire, two large wings, two small wings, and a central bead, and then string the pendant on the chain.”
