Pepito’s Atelier is an Etsy store that sells unique, handmade products from clocks to wall decorations, and wonderfully-crafted ambient lighting inspired by the Legend of Zelda series. Residing in Spain, storeowner Cristina has always enjoyed building her crafts but started heavily building them around three years ago due to free time. She opened her Etsy shop roughly six months ago thanks to the encouraging support of her friends and family.
“When I have an idea of something I want to make, I first draw a sketch on paper. Then, I draw all of the designs that the creation will include. Once I’m happy with the drawings, I repeat the designs on a wooden board around 3mm thick, and with much patience, I cut with a scroll saw every detail of my design entirely by hand. Once I have the parts of the creation cut out, I sand all of the pieces and build the lamp or wall decoration. When the parts are sealed correctly, I paint my project and all of the details that it has.”
One of Cristina’s favorite items in her shop is her new ambient lamp that she recently listed. It is built in the shape of the Triforce with the elements designed on its sides. Pepito’s Atelier currently sells around twenty items inspired by the Legend of Zelda series. These products consist of wall clocks, wall decorations, lamps, and key chains in which all are handmade out of wood. Aside from Zelda products, Cristina sells products inspired by World of Warcraft, Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Overwatch, Harry Potter, and more.
“I always come up with new ideas of items that I can make. I love making new products. I added two new products from the Legend of Zelda series to my store last week!”
Pepito’s Atelier effectively recreates items and icons from her favorite video game, comic, and movie-related series’ into stunning, classy home decor. What are your thoughts on this Cristina’s work? Let us know in the comments below.
