Majora’s Mask Bosses

Odolwa – Masked Jungle Warrior
The boss of the Woodfall Temple is Odolwa. This giant ancient warrior is equipped with his huge sword. Though humungous, this foe is not too hard to defeat. Odolwa is vulnerable to Link’s sword and arrow attacks. Deal with him in whatever way you prefer. If you choose to use your sword, you will need to be careful as Odolwa
will unleash a devastating spin attack. He will also summon a swarm of beeles here and there to give you a hard time. But on the whole Odolwa is not too hard to defeat. Just be persistent and he will fall.

Goht – Masked Mechanical Monster
When you enter the boss chamber of the Snowhead Temple you will see Goht frozen in a large ice cube. Equip your fire arrows and unfreeze him. Doing so will make Goht get up and start running around in a rampage. As he is running in circles around the room, put on your Goron mask and start to give chase. Chase after while avoiding his attacks which come in a variety of forms such as, lightning bolts, bombs, and rocks. So, keep rolling after him and when you get close enough ram into him. He will collapse to the ground where you can get a few extra hits in upon him. After a few hits he will get up and run away again. Repeat this process until he is defeated.

Gyorg – Gargantuan Masked Fish
Gyorg, the boss of the Great Bay Temple is one of the most challenging fights in the game. Gyorg is a gigantic monster fish who will swim around the area and try to jump up and swallow you when you are on the center platform. I find the best strategy is to stand near the edge of the platform and fire arrows in at Gyorg as he swims by. If the arrow successfully hits Gyorg then he will be stunned and fall to the sea floor. Quickly put on your Zora mask at this point and jump in after his. Dive to the bottom and start slashing at him until he recovers his senses. At this point you need to jump back onto the middle platform and repeat. Just be careful so Gyorg does not jump up and swallow you. Also be careful when you are in the water as he will sometimes release a bunch of baby fish to attack you.

Twinmold – Giant Masked Insect
The last dungeon boss and the boss of the Stone Tower Temple is Twinmold. Twinmold, as the name suggests is actually two giant worms (worms aren’t insects lol). These warms as I said are huge so you will need to equip your Giant’s Mask to help make the fight a bit more fair. They will be diving in and out of the sandy terrain. So as they are doing so, try to get close enough to sneak in a few hits on their weak tail spots. This is not as easy as it sounds as they are very fast moving and you will be on a limited magic meter. I highly suggest bringing in some potions to restore you meter in case you run out. But just keep hitting them in their tails until they are both defeated.

Majora’s Mask
Majora’s Mask is the final boss of the game. And in my opinion one of the craziest and most unique boss fights in any Zelda game ever. This fight consists of three stages so I will break it down into different parts for you all.

Part One – Majora’s Mask
Yes as the name suggests, you are actually fighting the mask at this stage of the boss. Majora’s Mask will be flying around the room and spinning along the ground at you. Its only weak spot is the back so you will need to avoid his attacks and get behind him. A good way to hit him is to use a spin attack to knock him back. If you are lucky you may be able to sneak in another hit or two from this. A really helpful tip for this fight is to equip the Bunny Hood as it will make you so fast that you will be able to easily run circles around Majora’s Mask to deal him damage with your sword or an arrow. After you have hit Majora’s Mask three times the four guardian masks will come loose from the wall and start shooting laser beams at you. Three arrows a piece will put them back to their place on the wall and end stage one of this boss fight.

Part Two – Majora’s Incarnation
The second part of the Majora boss fight is when things start to get really interesting. Ironically, it is not that hard as you can usually just stand still. Majora will run towards you and you can just swing your sword whenever he gets too close. Light arrows will also stun him so if you want to stun him and then get a few hits in then that works as well. Repeat this until the next part of the fight occurs.

Part Three – Majora’s Wrath
Majora’s Wrath is overall just a hilarious weird conclusion to this game. Majora will be attacking you with his tentacles and making the most interesting of noises throughout the fight. Now, he is deadly accurate with his tentacle whip attack so I suggest just standing still with your shield raised when he attacks you that way. He will eventually wear himself out which will give you the perfect opportunity to hit him with a Fire Arrow. Once doing so, try to run up to him and smack him with your sword as many times as possible before he recovers his senses. As this fight progresses, he will become more aware of your tactics and react much quicker. So you will need to be quicker as well with your attacks. But keep at it and Majora’s Wrath will finally fall.

Congrats on beating Majora’s Mask!
