The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on the Nintendo 3DS is a great game, but it was not the first or even second Zelda game on the 3DS that fans waited for. The first was Ocarina of Time 3D, and with its release, fans came to anticipate its direct sequel Majora’s Mask on the 3DS. After pleas for a remake and a long wait, it makes sense that fans would jump at the opportunity to play Majora’s Mask 3D when it was finally released last Friday. It quickly surpassed the initial sales of A Link Between Worlds. Also included in the graph below are sales figures for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate versus Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Like before, the more recent release outsold the older one.
