Another strong effort by the community to drive support for a Zelda inspiried LEGO set has come to a disappointing conclusion. LEGO has finished looking over their Winter 2014 ideas, and decided Link will not be making a brick-shaped appearance.
While Zelda fans managed to compile 10,000 signatures in support of their project, and the concept made it to a list of finalists, LEGO ultimately passed on the idea. While no reason for passing on this set was released, one can assume that Nintendo’s partnership with LEGO competitor K’nex could have something to do with the decision.
