Nintendo has announced how and which amiibos will be compatible with their upcoming title, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.
In a rather anti-climatic reveal, Kirby, Kind Dedede, and Meta Knight are the three amiibos that will work with the game.
Gamers will be able to scan their amiibo once a day to acquire a special power-up that can be used within a stage of their choice. Kirby gains the ability to use an unlimited Star Dash, King Dedede gives Kirby a higher defense, and Meta Knight gives Kirby a stronger attack.
Kirby’s amiibo was released during the first wave of shipping, but the other 2 compatible amiibos have yet to launch. They will become available on February 5. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse also has a February release date.
