The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed a plethora of new Hyrule Warriors Legends details. A summary of this information is as follows:
- Toon Link uses quick agile sword-based attacks
- Toon Link has a high jump and is able to use the Deku Leaf.
- There is a new item which is like a hammer. Using it will smash the ground and shake nearby monsters.
- The Helmaroc King is in the game.This enemy creates gigantic blasts of wind and is very strong when compared to the game’s more common foes.
- Miniblins from The Wind Waker and Big Blins from Spirit Tracks will be in the game.
- A Wind Waker chapter will be added to the Legend Mode.
- Toon Link is not playable in this mode.
- A new plot device takes place prompting Link’s new journey.
- There will be several new areas added to the game including, but not limited to; Windfall Island, Dragon Roost, and the Forsaken Fortress.
- Toon Link and other new additions to the roster and stages will be playable on the Wii U.
- Still many unannounced characters.
- Plans for more DLC characters.
- A Gold Ocarina will be available as an item which warps you to Owl Statues across the battlefield. A great tool to help in time-sensitive missions.
