Update: As Hyrule Warriors’ North American official site originally suggested, the Ganon Pack will be called the Boss Pack in that region. The DLC will available on March 12.
Nintendo has announced that Japan will receive the fourth DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors, the Ganon Pack, on Thursday, February 26 for 500 yen. This likely means that other regions should receive the DLC around that same time. The Ganon Pack is included with the Hero of Hyrule Pack, and separately it cost $2.99.
The Ganon Pack will include the Boss Challenge and Ganon Play, accessible through the Challenge Mode.
Boss Challenge:
- Choose a warrior to fight against the Giant Bosses
- Aim for high scores with each warrior
- Can earn new costumes for Link, Zelda, and Lana
Ganon Play
- Play as Ganon’s beast form
- Aim for a high score as you trample over the battlefield
- Can earn new costumes for Ganondorf and Cia
Alongside the new DLC is the free Version 1.6.0 update that should make the DLC functional as well as add these features:
- Max level cap increased
- New medals to earn
- New potions in Apothecary
- More challenges in Challenge Mode
- Score keeping in Challenge Mode
- Faster load times when entering battles
