Hyrule Warriors Details From Famitsu Magazine

Details regarding Hyrule Warriors continues to be revealed. Most recently it was announced that Hyrule Warriors would be released sometime this Summer in Japan That date has now been pinpointed down to August 14, and a score of other news has been released. .

A recent issue of the famous Famitsu magazine has been translated and the details are now available as follows.

  • In Japan there will be a premium edition that contains a Triforce shaped clock and 6 special in-game costumes.
  • Hyrule Warriors supports up to 2 players, one playing on the TV and the other on the GamePad.
  • The game’s playing style is based on how you build your character. There are many options available, including but not limited to speedy sword attacks and heavier damaged but slower weapon classes.
  • The game has a system that enables the growth of your character’s skills.
  • Z-targeting is back, but is mixed in with the traditional Dynasty Warriors style of action.
  • Link’s traditional spin-attack is gone, being replaced with the Musou move from other Dynasty games.
  • Zelda-styled Bombs are back and have a variety of uses.
  • Impa is the newest captain to the Hylian army, and is confirmed as a playable character.
  • As of now Link and Impa are the only confirmed characters that are playable, but there are supposed to be many more to be revealed at a later date.
  • The game will be at E3 and ready to demo.

    Honestly, I see a TON of ways this game can screw up. I trust Nintendo, but this is a big risk for their series known for greatness. E3 will give me a better opinion.

      Well it is not going to be a part of the zelda series or canon. Just a Dynasty game with zelda icons used instead. So either way Nintendo should be pretty safe.
