How Amiibo Works With Hyrule Warriors

We recently posted new regarding an update enabling Hyrule Warriors to work with the new Amiibos.

New information was revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct Presentation showing how these figures will work within Hyrule Warriors. New weapons and materials can be obtained by scanning an Amiibo into the game. For instance, scanning the Link Amiibo will unlock the Spinner from Twilight Princess.

Nintendo announced that every Amiibo that is compatible with Super Smash Bros. Wii U will also be compatible in Hyrule Warriors. Scanning one of the figures will enable you to “receive a randomly selected material, weapon, or rupee,” said Bill Trinen.
