Hand Drawn Link’s Awakening Intro Animations by ChrisCrossMedia

Link’s Awakening holds a special place in my heart. As my first Zelda game, I cherish every second of the game, from the intro to the ending credits. As a new fan of the series, at the time, the intro absolutely drew me into my upcoming adventure on the mysterious Koholint Island.

My good friend over at ChrisCrossMedia has hand drawn and animated this intro, bringing back all kinds of beloved memories with it.

And of course the Link’s Awakening DX version.

The two videos are essentially the same, but keeping true to the two versions of the game, one is in greyscale and the other in full color.
