As revealed in today’s Nintendo Direct, the new Fire Emblem game for the Nintendo 3DS will have the player’s avatar as the main protagonist. Due to the character’s circumstances, they can fight for either side of the opposing kingdoms. The Hoshido kingdom seeks peace while the people of Nohr seek glory. Story and difficulty changes depending on which side the character chooses to support. The Hoshido story will be more traditional and plays at an easier difficulty compared to the Nohr story, a more complex and difficult campaign. Fire Emblem is without a subtitle, and the game is dated for a 2016 release.
