FAST Racing Neo, a Wii U eShop exclusive follow-up to the 2011 WiiWare racing game FAST Racing League, was announced way back in 2013 but there haven’t been many details since then. Finally, developer Shin’en has released several gorgeous screenshots from the alpha today.

But that’s not all! Shin’en’s Mandred Lizner has outlined some details about the technical specs of the game as well. FAST Racing Neo will be launching in late 2015 at a native 720p resolution running 60 frames per second. It will also include up to 4-player local multiplayer and ranked online racing. The first official footage of the game will be debuting in June, presumably during E3.

What do you think? Could this be the spiritual successor to F-Zero that fans have been clamoring for? Or will you wait until actual footage is shown to pass judgment? Let us know in the comments below.
