Big news for Hyrule Warriors, and the game hasn’t even hit the shelves yet in the states!

Koei Tecmo released screenshots of the first official DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors. Yes, you can pre-order and get some minor DLC, but we’re talking full fledged, new maps, scenarios and, yes – NEW playable characters!

The main baddies of this game, Cia, Volga, and Wizzro, will be included in the DLC, along with a few menu customization options. As far as we know, these characters will be free in conjunction with a 1.3.0 software update due out September 30.

The pricing on the DLC is listed in yen, so the dates posted might only reflect Japan release dates. No official confirmation for North America has been given, but come one, we’re sure we’ll see it.
