Creator of Mega Man’s Favorite Zelda Game

Keiji Inafune (Creator of the Mega Man series) was recently asked in an interview at the Tokyo Game Show what the most important game to him was. He replied with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. For somebody who began making games during that era, it’s understandable as to why he chose it. Many old school gamers still believe today that A Link to the Past is one of the greatest games of all time, and rightfully so. The masterpiece doesn’t receive much praise in today’s world, but back then it was top of the line. A Link to the Past is Zelda 2-D action at it’s finest.
