In today’s final Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS video presentation, Corrin, the main avatar character of Fire Emblem Fates, was announced as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. The character was made as a male and female version.
Corrin is armed with Omega Yato, a legendary sword, and can also use Dragon Fang abilities. Smash attacks have an especially long reach. All special attacks use a type of dragon transformation. The final smash is called “Torrential Roar”.
New music will be added to Fire Emblem stages when purchasing Corrin. New trophies will be added to the 3DS version of the game. Corrin will be available sometime in February 2016, at $4.99 for each version of Smash, and $5.99 for the Wii U/3DS bundle. Corrin is expected to receive an amiibo sometime in the future.
