Do you guys have that person in your life who always has candles lit? Are you that person? Well, regardless, the Wax Foundry creates some impressive, homemade soy candles, some of which are inspired by the three Legend of Zelda goddesses: Nayru, Din, and Farore.

The Wax Foundry, residing in Audubon, New Jersey, makes handmade video game-inspired candles, whose goal is to bring high-quality, natural, affordable candles to the masses. His “Triforce Soy Candles” include Nayru’s candle, consisting of scents like citrus, cherry blossom, and hydrangea; Din’s candle, consisting of scents like cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and floral red rose; and lastly, Farore’s candle, which burns a scent that includes citrus, fresh apple, sandalwood, and summer florals. Founder of the Wax Foundry Kevin Walton, who is the one-man show behind the Etsy shop, creates his candles using “science and experimentation, along with a little bit of creativity.”

“The scientific process has a huge influence on our work, which is why all of our Wax Foundry product recipes have undergone extensive testing and experimentation to ensure that every candle produced has the perfect blend of color, fragrance, and a clean burn. Through countless tests, we’ve worked tirelessly to develop the optimal formula for each of our recipes to produce a clean burn, captivating scent, and superior quality. So far over 50 lbs of 100% natural soy wax have been used for experimentation!”

Kevin’s shop sells candles featuring many iconic video game series including Sonic the Hedgehog, Donkey Kong, Pokémon, Skyrim, and more. His latest candle, the Sonic-inspired one titled the “Blue Blur,” has a fragrance imitating blueberry cobbler, with sweet scents like blueberry, vanilla, and graham cracker. These candles make the perfect gift for any Nintendo fan looking to bring some great-scented, video game-inspired candles into warm their home during this time of year here in the United States.
