Nintendo has released through a press release that the Legend of Zelda Symphony will be having another concert tour in the United States in 2012 with the concert tour being called: “Symphony of the Goddesses”. The orchestra will be …
The great reviews for Skyward Sword continues. Today Game Informer has posted their review for the game and Nintendo could not be happier. Zelda Skyward Sword received a perfect 10 out of 10 score from the gaming magazine!
Comments from the review states that the combat is some of the best in the series and the bosses are actually challenging for a change. However, the highest praise for the game seems to stem from its motion controls.
This is one area where many fans have expressed concerns, but Game Informer says it is truly excellent and finely polished.
So far this is the second perfect review that Skyward Sword has received. Edge also gave the game a 10 score. The Official Nintendo Magazine, while not so highly marked, gave the game an almost perfect 98/100.
Fans have gone ahead and hacked bits and pieces of the Japanese Skyward Sword website in hopes of trying to find the full map of Skyward Sword and have succeeded in doing so, posting what they have found now. I’ve gone ahead and uploaded it, and you can go ahead and view it below:
New Skyward Sword Eldin Volcano Footage Skyward Sword Fire Sanctuary
The two above videos show off the Eldin Volcano and Fire Sanctuary in Skyward Sword. There are lava like hands who seem to remind me of a boss from Super …
This video contains spoilers for Skyward Sword (but you already know that, huh?). In it shows more things from Skyward Sword, such as the blonde haired Sheikah we seen in an earlier trailer, and the forging of the Master Sword. Apparently, from what I saw, I’m assuming you collect the power of the Goddesses into the Goddess Sword, as seen in this video where Link gathers energy in a room where a door with Din’s symbol is located. After gathering the energy, the sword transforms to the Master Sword with its wings closer to the blade, similar to how it was in the Wind Waker.
This is all interesting… Skyward Sword seems to be tying in a lot of the Zelda games together.
Nintendo has released more Skyward Sword information regarding Eldin Volcano and the Fire Sanctuary. Much like with how you have to travel back to Faron Woods and go to Lake Floria. Seems like you have to often go back to old places in this game to find new areas, locations, and items. Here’s what Nintendo has said about the new details:
– Travel back to Eldin Volcano! Discover Fire Sanctuary, located at the summit of the mountain! Dangers await him as an eruption on the mountain deters Link.
– Collect a new item! Gather a new item, the Mogma Mitts, special mitts that were made to access the subterranean areas of the sancutuary.
– Discover more in Skyloft. Skyloft has a lot more to give to you such as Pumpkin Pull which you strike out and hit flying pumpkins!
I wonder what else we’ll have to do in Skyward Sword?
Yutaka Hiramuki, the person who both worked on Pikmin and Phantom Hourglass, has revealed that when you reach an area called the Sealed Grounds in Skyward Sword, you can tell it has some of its roots from Pikmin.
The Official Nintendo Magazine has now released more Skyward Sword details. People have gone and asked a few more questions about Skyward Sword like if Tingle is in it (nope, he’s not in it, thankfully, in my opinion). I’ve gone ahead and posted what they have said below, but beware, there are spoilers.
wolfboy300 asks: In the game itself, you know the items you pick up and use to upgrade your items? Is there a limit to how many of each item you can carry?
Not that I found but by the end of the game the most I had of any one item was somewhere in the high 80s. They were bees – you get a bunch of them every time you knock down a hive.
LocalHero asks: Is Tingle in it?
onmsam asks: Do the controls work well and are there lots of areas to explore like on Wind Waker?
Much like in Wind Waker, there are islands in the sky that are entirely optional to explore.
Eldin Volcano and the Earth Temple have been released on the Japanese website for Skyward Sword. If you want to go ahead and go see information about both places, as well as information on the new race, the Mogmas, then …
