Eiji Aonuma sure has been the bringer of Zelda news as of late. First he provided some new information about Majora’s Mask 3D, and now he has opened up about the upcoming Zelda Wii U game.
Nintendo gave the world their first look at the upcoming Legend of Zelda Wii U earlier this year at E3 2014. The game featured a cartoon-style graphics style that was very reminiscent of the art style used in Skyward Sword. One of the most intriguing factors was the apparent use of high-tech weapons and designs that was prevalent throughout the course of the game’s reveal trailer.
Nintendo Everything has translated this issue of the Famitsu Magazine and notes that Aonuma discusses an improvement has been made to the game’s already impressive graphics. He promises the world will be impressed at E3 2015 when we see how much power the Wii U is able to push out.
Aonuma then discussed the new monster that was seen at the end of the reveal trailer. He says this is a new enemy never seen in a Zelda title before. The monster will have to be defeated while Link is on his horse and it will require some creative thinking.
Aonuma ended the interview by promising we would see more at E3 2015.
