In the latest update, Nintendo provided us with a lot of great information on a couple of the new areas that will be in Zelda Skyward Sword. Before now we have already heard about the Forest, Fire, and Earth Temples. And now we know of 1 more that is water based.
This dungeon is called the Ancient Cistern. The Ancient Cistern is a water themed dungeon but do not worry it is nothing like the dreaded Ocarina of Time water temple. We have also gotten some information about this dungeon. First of all Link will be acquiring the Whip from the Ancient Cistern and the boss of the area is that Shiva like character that we saw Ghirahim controlling in a previous trailer.
Next, there is a new area called Lake Floria. As we mentioned in the previous update about the new Skyward Sword aquatic race, there is a new lake region. I will be updating the site with some footage of both areas here shortly.
