Eiji Aonuma, producer of many of the Zelda titles recently sat down to talk with CNET about the upcoming 3DS entry to the Zelda series, A Link to the Past 2 (title pending). According to Aonuma this game is the most inventive Zelda game yet and he says, ”It certainly feels different from our point of view.”

It was also confirmed that both the Light and Dark Worlds would be returning, though it is unclear to what extent. Aounuma also went on to say Link’s wall abilities was  spurred on by the Phantom Ganon boss fight from Ocarina of Time.

Lastly he states that this is a game that must be played in 3D. The game will be enjoyable for all with or without the 3D effect, but players will get a deeper appreciation of the game’s depth with it on.
