A Link to the Past in 3D Possible?

It has been a while but in the past we heard that there was some interest in Nintendo bringing A Link to the Past to the 3DS. Today we get some more details in regards to this possibility with a quote by Zelda producer, Aonuma.

“Well actually, even Mr. Miyamoto himself has been talking recently about going back to the 2D Zelda games in particular the ones that were designed with multiple levels to the world like A Link to the Past, and taking those 2D graphics and recreating them in 3D so that you could get a sense for the depth of those worlds. That’s something that might be interesting to do, so I would say there might be a possibility of something like that in the future.”

So with this in mind which would you prefer? Would you rather get A Link to the Past 3D or Majora’s Mask 3D? Let us know in the comments

    Does this mean a 3D Zelda or a 2D 3D Zelda?

    I mean, a 3D-ized LttP or an OoT-type of 3D LttP?

    It's hard to really decide. I mean, on the one hand a release of a field-depth LttP would be amazing: imagine pushing up that slider and watching the trees and hills pop out towards you. Where on the other hand we'd have an amazing retexture release of Majora's Mask to compliment OoT.

    I would imagine that Nintendo has more than enough resources that they could have one team handle the depth of field release of LttP while another handles on the amazing work that would be Majora's Mask. Just a thought, but I really want both lol. I know we've had a few releases of LttP, but I'm sure everyone would still want to buy it again and again.

    LTTP, without a doubt. Besides it ought to have a lot fanbase that is huge compared to MM. Not that I didn't like it, but I know a lot of people that didnt!
