32GB Wii U Wind Waker HD Bundle Leaked

According to the good people over at Destructoid, via a source at retail giant Target, Nintendo will be releasing a 32GB Deluxe Wii U with The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD at $349.99.

This is big news, especially seeing as how WWHD has no release date beyond “sometime in October.” Destructoid then goes on to quote Nintendo as saying that “Nintendo does not comment on rumors and speculation.” Surprise, surprise. Regardless, a Wii U bundled with Zelda is sure to help with the sluggish sales the Big N has been experiencing with their latest console.

Additionally, the source at Target told Destructoid that two 3DS XL bundles would also be released with the upcoming Pokémon X/Y games (global release date of Oct. 12) in Blue and Red. This is huge for the U.S. and Nintendo, as around 100K similar bundles recently sold out in Japan… in a matter of hours.

At this point, these “reveals” are no more than rumors, but it stands to reason that we can expect official announcements from Nintendo in the coming month.

So – do you own a Wii U or 3DS already? If so, are either of these bundles enough of a reason for you to shell out the cash for a new one?

If you don’t, do these bundles capture enough of your attention to make the leap? Share, like, and let us know what you think in the comments.

Until next time,

Chase
